How To Get Started With GVO

Even though GVO – Global Virtual Opportunities has tutorial videos and pretty much spells out every step of the way, if you are new to the internet marketing scene, you should start with the simplest steps.  Sometimes there is so much information, you can feel like you’re standing in traffic during rush hour!

Ensure you are completely signed up with GVO (Global Virtual Opportunities).  Don’t stop in the middle of the sign up process as you may not be able to sign back in.

How do you know when you are done?

Before you leave the GVO site, you will have chosen a “user name” or “log in” name and password.  If you have gotten to that point and made your choices and saved them (and PLEASE write the information down so you can find it later), you can now take a break and sign back in when your ready to take your next steps.

GVO offers so many tools and services, it can be difficult to know where to begin.  The over-abundance of information and choices on the internet is the main reason for setting up my Internet Marketing School here in this blog.  But don’t go to school just yet.  Let’s get you set up in GVO first.

JUST FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:

1. Log into your BACK OFFICE at GVO – the link is:  https://gogvo.com/affiliates/

2. Listen to the Welcome Message.

3. SKIP the steps listed below (they are in the upper left corner in the back office):

4.  If you are not very technically trained, don’t let that list scare you.  You do NOT have to set up a website.  If you get lost and need to contact me to find your way out, skype me or call 760-780-1449

5.  The next step is to watch ALL the videos in Creating a 7 Figure Income with GVO.  These videos are compact information that include the VERY BASICS of internet marketing and can help you build your business.

6.  The leaders at the top of this team put together a “sales funnel” for Genie.  It has been working very well and comes with instructions.  You may have gotten here due to that very set of videos.  To get one for yourself, go to the menu at the top and find the tab for custom sales pages.  It is only $10.95 to have someone set the whole thing up for you.

5.  This step is where you start taking action to drive traffic to that sales funnel.  You can start that with your GVO Marketing Tools.  If you have people in an address book or email account, if you already have leads or any form of transferrable names list, you can open an AOL or Yahoo account, transfer those contacts to it and then use the Recruiter.  Watch the tutorial videos to see exactly how it works.

6.  Now it’s time to see how instantly you can set up an email campaign.   The concept is simple and GVO has made this a walk in the park for you.  Follow the steps as you watch the tutorial videos.  Helpful Hint:  Sign in to GVO twice in two different windows so that you can pause the video in one browser window while you do the steps in another. If you follow all the steps in those videos, you will have automatically set up your first email campaign and responder.

7.  Now you have your GVO capture pages set up with your e-responder system ready to go.  Each of those 18 or so capture pages can now be used to tell people about GVO and you will get the credit for it.  By getting some GVO sign ups, you can get all your internet tools virtually free.  If you do not want to write your own emails, you can get a copy of someone else’s campaign and personalize them.  However, with the Shopping Genie, it’s best to just go to the Genie’s back office and use the video emails.

The rest of these steps are for marketing GVO.

8.  The simplest way to get people to your “capture page” is to simply tell people the website address of that capture page. Tell it to Facebook, Twitter, in emails and so forth.  For setting up and managing your social accounts, get on my mailing list (subscribe) so you can pick up the e-books in the password protected library in this blog.

9.  For tips on marketing GVO or to join our coop marketing, you have to at least be signed up for the trial.  Only those who are signed up for the trial get personal coaching from me.  With Skype, you can get into the inner circle.  Some marketing tips are on a different website.  You should have received an invitation to the inner circle for GVO with a link to that website.  If you did not, contact me and I’ll get you a copy.

8.  At this point, you can go back to the top left corner and do each step from Domain to BloggerBuilder to set up your website for your primary business.

What you do next depends on your situation.  Whether you are setting up a website or transferring your already existing website to GVO, put a GVO banner on it for sure.  Everything you need to bring people into GVO is already there in GVO.

GVO is your front line business, something that is for everyone and is international.  This gives you lots of people who like-minded right there in your downline.  So if your primary business is “Miracle Juice” (made up name) and you want your own website for that, use the website builder for that.  But it is known fact with top marketing earners that you do not lead with your primary business.

In fact, the best situation is to have a minimum of two businesses.  One is to train and to capture leads.  The other is your primary business.  If people come into your primary business but don’t know how to market, you refer them to your marketing business.  If people come into your marketing business, some will be looking for a better business and if you have taken good care of them, they will want to know what your business is.
